Adler's axes are still made with the same passion and exacting standards set by its founder over a century ago. Innovations like a water-based paint facility and an automatic drying kiln demonstrate Adler's commitment to quality and sustainability. The factory, located in Waghäusel near the Rhine River, uses wood waste to generate up to 700KW of energy.
Each Adler axe bears the “JSW” mark, honoring Josef Schmitt and the village of Wiesental, where the company began. We are proud to bring these exceptional tools to our customers—crafted with heritage, precision, and a commitment to excellence.
